HAWAIIAN COLLECTION 2023 "Oahu and Kuhio Avenue" Casein on plein air board, 12" x 16" Collin Cessna

This painting is from Collin Cessna’s recent solo exhibition at the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art in Bedford, PA.

This plein air painting was created on March 12th 2023 in Waikiki in Honolulu, Hawaii. The palm trees from my hotel room had a jet black appearance against the backdrop of the city. I wanted to capture the feeling of this view. The majority of the paints used were created by me for this painting.

"Oahu and Kuhio Avenue" is an original casein painting on Canson Plein air board by Collin Cessna. This is a 12” x 16” painting set in a black frame.

The painting is signed on the lower right hand corner of the piece.
