HAWAIIAN COLLECTION 2023 "Ke'alohi Point" Casein on plein air board, 12" x 16" Collin Cessna

This painting is from Collin Cessna’s recent solo exhibition at the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art in Bedford, PA.

This plein air painting was created on March 10th 2023 at Ke’alohi Point at He’eia State Park. I have a soft spot for painting boats. As I was on the bus I saw boats in the distance at Ke’alohi Point and knew that I had to paint the scenery. It was a windy afternoon and I loved the palm trees in front of where the boats were positioned. The majority of the paints used were created by me for this painting.

The painting is signed on the lower left hand corner of the piece.
