This painting is from Collin Cessna’s recent solo exhibition at the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art in Bedford, PA.

This plein air painting was created on March 10th 2023 from the banks of Kualoa Rock Beach looking at Mokoli’i (Chinaman’s Hat). I was taken by the beauty of Mokoli’i Chinaman’s Hat) as I sat on the banks of the Kualoa Rock Beach. I wanted to capture the water, the mountains, and the feel of the landscape in paint. The majority of the paints used were created by me for this painting.
