Chomp!!! A Great White Shark Painting
In early April 2021, I started a commissioned painting of a Great White Shark. The stages/materials list of my 1’ x 3’ acrylic painting can be seen below!
Here the early stages of the painting are shown. I sketched the shark using vine charcoal and watercolor pencils. I have found that watercolor pencils are nice for sketching a composition before paint is added. Acrylic paint easily lays over watercolor marks. This painting is on a 1’ x 3’ canvas.
